1. Are your pearls real?
Yes — all our pearls are authentic and carefully sourced. We use types such as:

Freshwater Pearls (most common, wide variety of shapes)

We do not use plastic, glass, or synthetic imitation pearls.
2. Are the pearls natural or cultured?
Most pearls in the world today are cultured pearls, meaning oysters are raised and nurtured to create pearls naturally.
We do not sell artificial or man-made pearls.
3. Do the pearls have imperfections?
Yes — real pearls often have natural lines, tiny bumps, or slight shape differences.
These characteristics are signs of authenticity and make every piece unique.
4. How do I take care of my pearl jewellery?
To maintain shine and quality:

Wipe pearls gently with a soft cloth after wearing.

Avoid perfume, lotion, and hairspray directly on the pearls.

Keep pearls away from water and sweat for long periods.

Store separately to avoid scratches.
5. Can I shower or swim with my pearl jewellery?
No — pearls are delicate and can lose their luster when exposed to:

High heat

Chemicals
Remove them before showering, swimming, or workouts.
6. What size are the pearls?
Common pearl sizes we use:
3–4mm → mini, cute
4–5mm → small, daily
6–7mm → classic, elegant
7–8mm → classic size
8–9mm → premium, more noticeable
9–10mm+ → luxury and bold
Size varies by collection.
7. Are the metals hypoallergenic?
Our pieces use:

These materials are generally safe for sensitive skin.
8. Will the jewellery tarnish?
Gold-plated items may tarnish over time due to wear and chemicals.
However, with proper care, they will last a long time.
18k solid gold and sterling silver options have longer durability.
If a silver jewerly tarnishes, wipe it with a silver polishing cloth (the treated kind that helps remove tarnish).
9. Can I request custom designs?

10. Do you offer gift packaging?

11. How long does shipping take?
Depending on your location:

Malaysia: 1–7 working days

Singapore: 1–5 working days

Express shipping is available. We will notify you by email once your order has been shipped, along with the tracking number.
12. Do you accept returns or exchanges?
Kindly understand that we do not offer returns or refund for change-of-mind reasons for both ready made and customised design.
We do accept 1-1 Exchanges if the item arrives damaged or faulty(ie. the chain broke/the pearl were damaged due to shipping.
No pearl is ever perfect — and that is exactly what makes each one worth appreciating. All Pearl & Prejudice accessories are thoughtfully curated for durability and long-lasting beauty. Should the silver tarnish within 60 days from the date of purchase, we will replace the silver part while retaining your original pearls. The replacement process takes approximately 2 weeks. As part of our service, we will absorb the postage costs for any approved exchange.
13. Are the pearls waterproof?
Pearls are not waterproof.
They can withstand a little sweat, but frequent moisture will damage them.
14. Why do my pearls look slightly different from the photo?
